Best Lebanese Fattoush
Fattoush is a salad full of vegetables. A perfect way to clean out your fridge of produce at the end of the week. It’s a Lebanese favorite, next to tabbouli! You will notice its cut into different sizes depending on who is the chef. In restaurants, the pieces are bite size, while at home we usually chop smaller to get everything in each spoonful. The dressing is the most important thing to being together the flavors, the EVOO settles the tang of the Pomegranate molasses and lemon. When picking your vegetables, try to eat organic when you can, but as long as you are getting vegetables in, anything counts!
Ingredients:
1 head of lettuce
2 tomatoes
2-3 small cucumbers
1/2 pepper
4 radishes
3 green onions
1/4 cabbage
bunch parsley, mint
Dressing:
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 lemons juiced
Generous drizzle of Pomegranate Molasses
1 Tbsp. Sumac
Salt & Pepper (optional)
1 garlic clove (optional, but recommended)
